H&K Aquatics began with a shared passion for the aquatic world. My mum, Kate, worked as a pet shop manager for many years, while I, Holly, started volunteering there at just 13. Together, we always kept fish and shrimp, and eventually decided to turn our love for the hobby into a family-run business.

Although my mum has now stepped back to enjoy her other hobbies, the name H&K remains — a reminder of where this journey started and the dream we built together. Today, I continue our mission: to provide healthy, beautiful shrimp, cared for with the same dedication we’ve always had.

At H&K Aquatics, our shrimp are carefully bred and raised in natural, plant-filled tanks to ensure they are healthy, colourful, and ready to thrive in your aquarium.

Our goal is simple: to make high-quality freshwater shrimp more accessible across the UK, while sharing our passion for aquatics with a growing community of hobbyists. 💙
